Food 4 Thought: Passionate Sailor to Entrepreneur
Following our first Food 4 Thought dinner in September, we’re gathering again on Thursday 15 October at Waterman Business Centre, Chadstone. Food 4 Thought creates a welcoming, low-pressure space where Christians can invite friends, colleagues, neighbours and family who may be open to conversations about business, purpose, life and faith. This month, Glenn Watson, a business leader, strategic adviser and property developer, will share “Passionate Sailor to Entrepreneur”, reflecting on his journey from sailing to entrepreneurship and the lessons he has learned along the way. Free entry and dinner. Places are limited. Think and pray about one person you could invite, come along together, and allow the dinner and conversation to create an opportunity to explore faith naturally.

Healing Through Creativity Life Group
Healing Through Creativity is a new Life Group that invites you into a gentle and hope-filled space where God meets us through creative expression. Creativity does not mean being artistic; it is part of how we are made in the image of our Creator and is present in everyday areas of life, such as problem-solving, gardening, cooking, and more. This group is especially for anyone carrying unexpressed emotions, feeling stuck in decision-making, or longing for a deeper Spirit-to-Spirit connection with God. In a safe and encouraging environment, come experience God’s healing heart, renewed joy, and greater freedom through creativity, while enjoying meaningful fellowship as the family of God.

Newcomers Lunch
We’re hosting a newcomers’ lunch on Sunday, 18 October, and you’re invited! If you’re new to our church, do join us for lunch and hear about our vision and values, meet some of our pastors, and ask any questions you might have. Men’s Prayer Gathering
If you are looking for a place to pray, connect, and seek God together with other men, the Men’s Prayer Gathering is for you. These monthly sessions offer time to slow down, bring things before God, and discern His direction as a community of men. Come along on 18 October, or 29 November and experience what it means to grow as a man of prayer.

Indian Service
Join us for our upcoming Indian Service on Sunday 25 October, with guest speaker Ashish Chrispal bringing us the Word of God. Come together for a time of worship, biblical teaching and fellowship as we grow in faith and encourage one another. After the service, we will be sharing a fellowship dinner, so please bring a plate to share.

B@Clayton Campus & Young Adults: Sunday Connect Supper
Join us for Sunday Connect Supper, a relaxed evening where you can enjoy free BBQ and picnic food, get into a game of volleyball, Spikeball or board games, and spend time meeting and connecting with people from our community. Shady Gendy will also be sharing a short talk on “Redefining Success: Finding Your Purpose,” exploring what really matters beyond the goals and expectations the world places on us. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend along for a fun and easy night out. Registration closes on 18 October.

Monthly Chapel Service
We are wrapping up the year with our final Monthly Chapel Service on Thursday, 5 November, and we would love for you to be part of it. Ps Chee will be bringing a word on Faith When Life is Hard, drawn from Proverbs 4:23, a theme that speaks to all of us in different seasons of life.
Whether you are a regular or joining for the first time, come and be encouraged through worship, the Word, and the company of fellow believers.

B@Clayton Kids: Family Movie Night
Grab the family and join B@Clayton Kids for a special Movie Night on Friday 6 November! Sit back and enjoy the inspiring film David (PG) on the big screen, with free popcorn and gelato from Oh My Gelato provided on the night. Pack a picnic dinner, spread the word to your friends, and enjoy a great evening of good food and good company. Make sure you register in advance to secure your popcorn and gelato vouchers. This is a free event.

Baptisms during the English 10 am service are scheduled for the first Sunday of each school holiday. Our final baptism service for 2026 will be on 20 December.

Playgroup
A place of belonging, support and encouragement for parents with toddlers
For over 40 years, our Playgroup has been a haven for parents with children aged 0–4. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a warm, safe, and structured environment where children learn through play, enhancing their social, motor, and cognitive skills. Parents, especially first-timers, find support for the challenges of parenthood while building connections with other families and accessing community resources.
Playgroup runs during school term on Thursdays, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at Clayton Church.
English Learning
Equipping you with the confidence to speak English, build friendships and feel at home
For over a decade, Encounter English Learning has empowered newcomers to Australia by helping them develop essential English skills, build connections, and settle into their new community. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a supportive space to learn the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Classes also explore Australian culture, customs, practical life skills, and include some Christian teaching.

Serving with Team Clayton is more than filling a role — it’s a way to live out the gifts God has given you. Through a warm welcome, a shared meal, or a simple cup of coffee, we reflect the love of Jesus in practical and meaningful ways.
