Life rarely unfolds in a straight line. Whether you’re feeling stuck, navigating change, or simply wondering what comes next, this workshop offers a welcoming space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with who you are and what matters most. Guided by Emma and Mabel from Whole Life Coaching, you’ll explore your story, clarify your values and purpose, imagine what your next chapter could look like, and identify practical next steps to move forward with confidence. Through a research-based framework, you’ll gain greater clarity, practical tools for navigating change, and a clearer sense of direction for the road ahead.

Do you have a heart for sharing God’s love with others? Come be part of the Together for Clayton & Beyond’s Clayton Road Outreach! No previous experience is needed; just a willingness to engage with people and offer a listening ear. A brief training will be provided to equip you. ACTIVATE Missions Conference 2026
Our Missions Team would love to encourage you to attend the ACTIVATE Mission Conference on Saturday 15 August. For over 10 years, ACTIVATE has brought Christians from across Melbourne together to inspire, challenge and mobilise people towards God’s mission. This year’s theme, “Where there is no church… then what?“, will explore God’s heart for the more than 3.2 billion unreached people around the world through Bible teaching from Rev. Pedram Shirmast. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with 21 mission agencies, colleges and organisations, hear inspiring stories, ask questions and discover practical ways to be involved in God’s global mission. Equip School: Apologetics Course
How confident do you feel explaining why you believe in Jesus? This course will introduce different approaches to apologetics, helping you strengthen your own faith while equipping you to thoughtfully share it with others. Inspired by 1 Peter 3:15, we’ll explore how to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ with wisdom, humility and confidence. We encourage you to join us in this course, whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding or be better prepared for conversations with seekers.
Dates: 18 August – 8 September 2026 (Tuesdays, 4 weeks)
Time: 8.00 pm – 10.00 pm
Venue: The course will run both online and in person in Room 4.

Healing Through Creativity Life Group
Healing Through Creativity is a new Life Group that invites you into a gentle and hope-filled space where God meets us through creative expression. Creativity does not mean being artistic; it is part of how we are made in the image of our Creator and is present in everyday areas of life, such as problem-solving, gardening, cooking, and more. This group is especially for anyone carrying unexpressed emotions, feeling stuck in decision-making, or longing for a deeper Spirit-to-Spirit connection with God. In a safe and encouraging environment, come experience God’s healing heart, renewed joy, and greater freedom through creativity, while enjoying meaningful fellowship as the family of God.

B@Clayton Campus & Young Adults: Sunday Connect Supper
Community is an essential part of a healthy life, but community is not always easy to find. It can be hard to know where to start, where to go, how to fit in. We want to invite you into a space that allows you to feel welcome and connected without having to worry about fitting in. Come along, grab some supper (free, of course), chat with new people, chill with friends and enjoy a relaxed environment where you can simply be yourself. Each gathering includes opportunities to connect through conversations, interactive icebreakers, fun games and activities designed to help you meet people and build meaningful friendships. If you want connection, friendship, and community, then this is the space for you.

Father’s Day: Child Dedications
We believe that child dedication is a powerful moment in every child‘s life because they are so precious to God. In the public act of dedication, our church family, together with you, comes together to seek God’s blessing upon your child. We pray for your child and declare God’s protection and direction over their life. Child dedication is a time of celebration and rejoicing for the whole family, and a spiritual investment for the future.

Food 4 Thought
We’re excited to launch Food 4 Thought, a new initiative supported by Clayton Church of Christ and Waterman Co-Working Spaces for business owners, entrepreneurs and senior leaders. Enjoy a relaxed meal, build genuine relationships, hear from guest speaker Eric Zimmerman, a Christian entrepreneur, and explore how faith connects with leadership, business and everyday life through Alpha-style conversation resources. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend, colleague or business leader who may not normally attend church but is open to meaningful conversations about faith, purpose and leadership. Places are limited, so please register your interest in attending or inviting a guest using the link below. We’re also looking for a small number of volunteers, particularly young adults interested in entrepreneurship, business and leadership, to help with welcoming, hospitality and set-up. B@Clayton Life: Building Strong Marriages
Marriage as God intended is a lifelong journey where a husband and wife become “ONE”; a strong, united team who can embrace life’s joys and challenges together. Yet every marriage experiences moments of friction as we navigate different personalities, backgrounds, and desires. To flourish together, we need to intentionally invest in our relationship and develop practical skills in communication, connection, and resolving conflict. If you want to strengthen and revitalise your marriage, then this course is for you! Facilitated by Frank and Margaret Ruhl, this course will provide a safe and welcoming space for couples to learn, reflect, and grow together.

B@Clayton Youth: Youth (Mixed) Volleyball Social
b@clayton Youth is hosting a friendly mixed volleyball social for all high school students in Years 7–12. This community event is a wonderful opportunity to invite your friends, form a mixed team, meet new people and enjoy an afternoon of volleyball, connection and fun with other teams. Teams must include both guys and girls, with at least 2 girls on the court at all times. There will also be a social court available for those who would like to come along, play casually and enjoy the afternoon without joining a team. If you would like to attend but don’t have a team, we can help place you into one. No volleyball experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm, comfortable sportswear, and a great attitude!

Campus & Young Adults Retreat 2026
Get ready for CYA Retreat 2026! From 24–27 September, we’re heading to Toolangi Campsite for four days of fun, connection and growing together in our faith. Grounded in Romans 12, we’ll explore what it means to live with unity, humility and an outward, gospel-centred focus as a community. So, all you Campus & Young Adults folks, whether you’re looking to deepen friendships, grow spiritually or simply take a break from the usual routine, this retreat is for you! Early bird is $280 per person, so sign up early to save $20. You can also sponsor a spot to help someone attend who may not be able to afford it. Can’t wait to see you there!

Playgroup
A place of belonging, support and encouragement for parents with toddlers
For over 40 years, our Playgroup has been a haven for parents with children aged 0–4. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a warm, safe, and structured environment where children learn through play, enhancing their social, motor, and cognitive skills. Parents, especially first-timers, find support for the challenges of parenthood while building connections with other families and accessing community resources.
Playgroup runs during school term on Thursdays, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at Clayton Church.

English Learning
Equipping you with the confidence to speak English, build friendships and feel at home
For over a decade, Encounter English Learning has empowered newcomers to Australia by helping them develop essential English skills, build connections, and settle into their new community. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a supportive space to learn the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Classes also explore Australian culture, customs, practical life skills, and include some Christian teaching.

Serving with Team Clayton is more than filling a role — it’s a way to live out the gifts God has given you. Through a warm welcome, a shared meal, or a simple cup of coffee, we reflect the love of Jesus in practical and meaningful ways.
