ABOUT THAT’S THE THING ABOUT FISHING
This event is organised in collaboration with That’s The Thing About Fishing.
That’s The Thing About Fishing (TTTAF) is a registered not-for-profit charity that supports disadvantaged and vulnerable people, particularly across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, using fishing and outdoor activities as a way to build connection, confidence and wellbeing. Through fishing clinics and targeted programs, TTTAF helps improve social interaction and skills, reduce loneliness, strengthen self-confidence, and provide opportunities for families and individuals to connect with others in similar circumstances. The organisation also contributes more broadly to the community through mental health initiatives, homelessness prevention, bereavement support, and assistance for people experiencing mental health challenges or considering self-harm or suicide.
Learn more about their work at www.facebook.com/TTTAF.
If the event has sold out by the time you register, please email us at hello@claytonchurch.org.au and we’ll add you to the waitlist.
This project received funding from the Victorian Government through the Suburban Rail Loop East Community Projects Fund.
