Do you have a heart for sharing God’s love with others? Come be part of the Together for Clayton & Beyond’s Clayton Road Outreach! No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to engage with people and offer a listening ear. A brief training will be provided to equip you. Let’s step out in faith and bring hope to our Clayton community together!

Emerge Campus & Young Adults: Ninja Warrior Night

Emerge Campus and Young Adults are having a social event on the 30th of April, and this time we are connecting with our inner Ninja Warrior as we head to The Compound in Bayswater. You don’t have to be a super athlete to have a great night. You will need to register and confirm attendance by 25 April.

Newcomers Lunch

We’re hosting our first newcomers’ lunch for 2025 on Sunday 4 May, and you’re invited! If you’re new to our church, come along for a complimentary lunch. It’s a relaxed way to hear about our vision and values, meet some of our pastors, and ask any questions you might have.

Lead Like Jesus Leadership Course with Frank Rühl & Ps Paul

Jesus is the greatest leadership model of all time—and this course invites you to follow in His footsteps. Lead Like Jesus explores the Christ-centred leader’s identity, power, drive, commitment, and fullness. Through a mix of special guest presenters, teaching, mentoring groups, and practical sessions, you’ll be challenged to align your Heart, Head, Hands, and Habits to lead like Jesus from the inside out. This leadership course suits anyone wanting to grow or step out into leadership in the church or marketplace.

Dates: 6 May – 7 October 2025
(1st Tuesday of the month. There are 2 May sessions – 6 May and 13 May)
Time: 8 pm – 10 pm (online sessions via Zoom)

Playgroup

A place of belonging, support, and encouragement for parents with toddlers

For over 40 years, our Playgroup has been a haven for parents with children aged 0–4. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a warm, safe, and structured environment where children learn through play, enhancing their social, motor, and cognitive skills. Parents, especially first-timers, find support for the challenges of parenthood while building connections with other families and accessing community resources.

Playgroup runs during school term on Thursdays, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at Clayton Church. Playgroup for 2025 will resume on 6 February 2025.

English Encounter Learning

Equipping you with the confidence to speak English, build friendships and feel at home

For over a decade, Encounter English Learning has empowered newcomers to Australia by helping them develop essential English skills, build connections, and settle into their new community. Our dedicated volunteer team provides a supportive space to learn the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Classes also explore Australian culture, customs, practical life skills, and include some Christian teaching.
Term 1 will begin on 10 February 2025.
