We believe that a clear vision of Jesus is essential for us to have a clear vision for our lives. We believe that as Jesus rules your life He is changing your life, and as Jesus rules your life He is using your life! God is not just “working on us” but also working through us. 

The Bible teaches us that God isn’t looking for people that can quote all the Scripture, but God is looking for people who’s lives show that they know and obey Scritpure. We want our church to be identified by effective disciples who live out Jesus in every part of their life. 

Process of Heart Change

Confession – Repentance – Faith

In order for us to live a life that honour God and loves others, we need to make sure that God is ruling over every part of our life. This often requires us to go through the process of discovering what is taking God’s place in our heart, confessing of that sin, repenting and asking God to bring us in line with His desires, and having faith in God that He will continue to work in your life to make you more and more like Christ. 

Walk your way through the following questions. 

• Is there a pattern or behaviour in your life that dishonours God? What is at the root of it? What is happening in your heart?
• Are you ready to come before God and repent of putting something other than Jesus on the throne in your heart?
• Ask yourself, “Am I trusting that God will continue to use my life and continue to change my life as I let Him rule over it?”

• Is there a truth that God wants you to obey?  
• What will you do to obey this? I will…
• Who can you share this with?
