Bill Pontikis is a very active member, having recently served one term on the City of Monash council. In 2011 he founded Cafe Care which built upon his commitment to social justice, combined with his equally strong faith and love for Christ. He previously served as President of the Clayton Traders Association for 13 years, having operated a local cafe business in the Clayton Arcade.

Barbara has stood by Bill through all these seasons, having been happily married and together raising three children. Together, the couple sow much into the community, caring for and ministering to people from all walks of life.
